The Spark email app on macOS. Business Insider/Jeff Dunn Email is massive and unavoidable. You usually can't afford to get it wrong. But recently, I had the urge to try something new.

Today we’re bringing you one more update. It turns out there were a couple more bugs that needed squashing.

With one notable exception, Mail works. It’s feature packed, and on the Mac gives you control over folder organization and spam, thanks to the built-in Junk Mail feature. If you use Mail, good for you. Mail is traditional email; email management from 1999 that does not blaze any new trails or help with efficiency or in any way improve either the day-to-day clutter or the ongoing deluge of messages which must be managed and archived. What is better than Mail?

**Create email together** For the first time ever, collaborate with your teammates using the real-time editor to compose professional emails. **Create links to email** Create secure links to a specific email or conversation.

It’s literally amazing. The calendar is beautiful & it’s super user friendly & interactive. I’m obsessed & have become an unofficial sales person for you guys basically. It’s just a few small things that can be tweaked. I just don’t really like how some signatures when displayed in a thread, doesn’t look how it would on the computer or the Apple Mail app, which shows very similar to a computer layout. It’s not proportional & can throw me off. Some icons/links/logos in my signature aren’t recognized how they would be in the Apple mail app & just come up as empty boxes.

Better yet, finish the whole email and choose a future date and time to have it send automatically if you want. I don’t imagine these are features most people use on a regular basis, but they’re nice to have on hand. One advantage Spark has over Airmail is quick replies. Airmail has important formatting perks too: being able to write your email in Markdown or HTML. HTML in particular is useful if you send out newsletters because you can craft a professional, graphical letter right within Airmail.

Free Email For Mac

Spark is part of a new breed of email apps, ones based on a smart inbox. If you deal with a lot of email, across different accounts, you’ll appreciate how it only notifies you about important emails. The app is free everywhere, has a lot of smart and useful features, syncs settings between all devices, and is immensely customizable — from the layout to swipes to keyboard shortcuts on the Mac. Here’s why you should be using Spark as your default email client across all Apple devices. Smart Inbox Automatically Categorizes Your Emails Spark’s Smart Inbox sorts your email into three categories: Personal, Notifications, and Newsletters. They show up as widgets on the app’s home screen and you can expand a section to see all new emails. You can mark an entire section like Notifications as read with just one swipe.

Mail is free. Airmail has a nominal price tag. Spark– for now– is free, but I’m waiting for that shoe to drop in the future.

Text Editors and Notes Apps. Bear Ulysses iA Writer Agenda Text editors and note-taking apps are a unique category because dark themes were common before Mojave’s Dark Mode came along.

Also, some attachments aren’t able to be opened unless through a third party app (ex. Drive, notes, etc.) but then it wants to download to that app which is annoying. Example: if someone from work sent me an email thread as an attachment in an email, Spark wouldn’t open it by its own reader, i had to use Apple’s mail app to open it which was the only option i was given without fully downloading it. I’m looking to replace the Apple app with this one, but i need these changes made. You guys are so close & even excel in areas I didn’t even think would be useful until now, but again just need these little things tweaked. I’d love to see these changes, so i can keep enjoying your work! KStudd Exchange Sync Broke again after Spark V2.0 update.

It also includes a built-in calendar that supports iCloud, Gmail, etc. Spark also has team plans that answers that question for me.
