I have been using office 365 for 1.5 yers on my MAC. For the past month i have been experiencing a problem where my outlook crashes randomly. Sometimes it crashes 5 seconds after i open it and sometimes it works fine for about 30 minutes and then crashes. There is no specific task i am performing which causes it to crash. Below is the error I am getting. Please help!!
There’s a lot of randomness to the crashes. It’s not certain addresses, or certain sizes, no association to attachments or after sending a certain number or messages or after a certain amount of time. The first release of the beta worked great, it’s gone downhill sense. Also, is there ANY way to locally archive mail? My mailbox is getting very large and we don’t have the ability to turn on the online archiving feature. My total size is about 1.9GB.

Do not ignore the suggestions prompted by OffCAT, otherwise these issues are likely to cause Outlook problems. After the scan report was compiled, open it and look for the “ Event Logs section: Application Event Log Entries for the Last Outlook crashes“. It should look similar to the below screenshot: Notice the red icons in the above screenshot: they indicate Outlook crashes. If your Outlook 2013 crashed recently, OffCAT should report these crashes: click on one of them to open the actual crash event report. In the crash report, look for the “Faulting module name” and “Faulting module path” (this is the actual component that triggered the Outlook crash). Analyze the faulty module name and path.

Last updated: Sep 15, 2017 ISSUE The Zoom setting can be found in a new email message window by selecting the Options tab and clicking the Zoom button on the Ribbon. If the zoom setting is altered on a new message, the altered setting remains until changed back. Zoom does not change the actual font size, it simply zooms in or out on the composing window text, (impacts the composing mode window of all new messages/replies). Zoom does not affect the reading pane or received messages - those will show the actual font size.
I bought Office 16 with the assumption that it would work. Every time it is opened, it will last for about a minute and then crash. I have tried every fix that the internet has to offer so far, and nothing seems to work. After spending hours scouring forums I decided to post the same problem that everyone else had been posting myself, and didn't get any better luck than the other hundreds (or more) people that are experiencing the same problem that I am. Now because the people at the 'Office 365 community' have given up on me and can't find any solution that helps in the slightest, they have directed me here. They told me to copy and paste the detail log of my error message but it makes this message too long, so whoever feels like they might be able to helps, I can email it or do something else with it.
