MAC Spellbinder eyeshadows are a newish launch, and I have been waiting to give these a try ever since I spotted the promo pictures. I love how rich and vibrant the colors look on model, and the eyeshadows themselves have a strange velvety appearance. I recently tried these at the MAC counter, and at least in terms of packaging and design, these eyeshadows are definitely different from anything I have tried so far. The eyeshadows are packed in a pot, similar to a lot of cream eyeshadows, but the pot/tub is actually mostly a heavy magnetic base, and the eyeshadow is only in a small portion at the top. I haven't checked a new, untouched eyeshadow, but there's definitely a lot less product in there than might appear from the size of the pot. The eyeshadows themselves are - MAC claims - magnetically charged pigments that bind together and create a dense, pigmented vibrant look.

The finish is described as a metallic but the shimmer is very fine which makes them pretty wearable even for people who don’t like to use shimmer on daily basis. The line has eight different shades ranging from a beautiful teal to bronze and deep berry shade. I received three of the eight shades in is described as a soft grayed teal. It’s a beautiful deep muted teal shade which surprisingly is very wearable.

You can wear this shade day or night to add a subtle shimmer to your eyelids. ‘‘ is one shade to bring out for date night with its deep berry tones and an almost foiled texture during application.

Primer definitely makes them easier to work with. If you don’t use a primer with them and have any unevenness or dry patches on your lids, brace yourself, because these could get skippy. Also, I have this water line sensitivity issue I don’t know if “sensitivity” is the right word, but sometimes when I wear certain eye products, my water lines feel dry. My eyes don’t water, feel itchy or turn red, but I can feel when the skin is dry. Unfortunately, these do that with me.

Since I do not have this particular brush, I opted for my trusty (which is probably why some of the colour fell onto my cheeks). It worked in a pinch though. Because they are magnetized, the eyeshadows feel quite strange to touch. They mostly just move around in the container when pushed around, but once picked up on brush or fingers, they are look and feel like smooth metallic eyeshadows or pigments - a bit less prone to fallout than pigments, I think. This time, it's a more dramatic, smokey look using the limited edition MAC Spellbinder Eyeshadow that's perfect for fall and any upcoming Holidays- like Christmas or New Years. This eyeshadow is super pigmented and the magnetic characteristic is SUPER interesting.

Summer is here and it is no secret my go to makeup look is bronzed skin with a neutral bronze eye and a bold MAC Lipstick of course! MAC Lipsticks are my go to and I just can not quit them. This look is so effortless and easy yet looks extremely polished for a night out. If you want to glam it up more you can add false lashes and layer on highlighter! MAC Lady Danger is my all time favorite shade of red lipstick but as of late I have branched out for different seasons as orange toned is usually not a winter color but I still wear it LOL!

The cushion applicator can be used to dab the product on the lips and has a pointed tip for the cupid’s bow. If you have pigmented lips, I don’t recommend the lighter shades as they tend to be the least pigmented. Is a mid-toned coral that actually shows up well on my lips. Whereas and offer up even more pigmentation. Overall, if you are into low maintenance, light and hydrating lip products for an effortless look – then you will enjoy these.

I got to leave something on the tables for rest of you makeup junkies to pick up! I’m wondering how much is it going to cost me to get the Selena collection. Right now I’m looking at two lipsticks, definitely the brush, the blush/bronzer duo would be perfect for fall/winter. I’m glad they are doing these sneak peeks now, I will be ready with cash in hand come October 2016! This Selena collection is amazing. Just take all my money MAC!!

The Too Faced Sweet Peach collection will release December 2016 in the US. Check back soon for more release information. One of the standout eye palettes this year was the released back in April. I was absolutely crushed it sold out before I could purchase, but it will be returning this holiday season in all its glory. And its not coming back alone! Too Faced has creating an entire collection (praise!) around the magnificent smell of a Georgia peach orchard at peak season.

MAC just released a limited edition shadow collection called. How do i enable my webcam. The have black ionized pigments that are magnetically charged which fuses the loose powder together so it maintains it’s form and dimension. They sound very science forward right? They’re actually one of the most original eyeshadows I’ve tried when it comes to the texture. When you dip your finger in the pot it feels like you’re touching velvet, they’re super smooth and soft to the touch.

I think all the colors are standouts although Foil is a very yellow gold and I usually don’t like gold colors like this but it is pretty when layered with other shades. You can find the Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows out now. You may have to shop around as they have sold out on a few sites.
